Hello! My name is Elise. I’m 15 years old and live in McKinney Texas. I’m currently a 9th grader in High School. Next year I’m doing a personal project for my 10th grade year, and I am hoping that you can help me accomplish this. I LOVE all types of cards sent to me, and my only wish is that you help me achieve this project I am very excited about.

My project is focused on languages.
I would like to find out how many languages you speak, and how fluent you are in each of them. For example, can you speak, read and write the language fluently?
Were you self-taught? Is this something your family encourages?
Is it common in your country to speak more than one language? If so, what is the average?

I’m very excited about learning new languages myself. I am now fluent in English and Spanish (my mothers native tongue) and a little bit of Korean.
