My name is Barbara
I am retired now and am enjoying being able to spend time with my husband Dennis and to do all the things we want to do together such as going out for day trips, spending time working in the garden, going for walks etc..
My hobbies include reading, music, singing, knitting/sewing, art, painting/drawing, gardening, walking in the countryside and philately. I live with my husband in a lovely village in Buckinghamshire called Monks Risborough which is the oldest parish in England. My husband and I rescue teddy bears from charity shops and we have a large collection now

I like to receive most types of cards especially teddy bears, countryside/landscapes, anything to do with France particularly Paris and Carcassonne, ladies fashion, Spitfires, wartime (WW2) - land girls, domestic life during the war, churches/cathedrals, hedgehogs, steam engines, light houses, canals and narrow boats, windmills, purple and blue, royalty, flowers and garden birds.
