About Ludmila...

Ahoj! (czech hallo)

My name is Lída. I live in a small town north to Prague, which lay on the same river called Vltava. I studied art school and work as a Graphic designer and Photographer. Currently I am experiencing big changes in my life. I have got married after 12 years relationship and with my brand new husband we are expecting our first descendant very soon :)

Except my job I enjoy walks, especially hiking in mountains, recreational sport, reading, drinking tea, looking into maps, doing yoga and sauna in the winter.
I am a big cat lover! I have super cuddly cat named Chico.

Also I am in love with Scandinavian countries and British culture.
During my long studies have lived in Finland and England, in both counties for 6 months.
Now there is not so much opportunity to travel and so I see Postrcrossing as a great opportunity how to get foreing culture to my home.
I always liked sending and receiving postcards, I had plenty of pen friends as a child... so I am very excited about the opportunity to share this interest with others!

I am sure I will enjoy almost all kinds of postcards, but here are some tips if you like:

- postcards with nice views of landscapes and cities from where you are
- maps
- anything typical for your country (it can be even not so much typical or well known, but then is great if you can add some story or explanation of yours)
- untypical views, art and vintage cards
- if you are from Scandinavia, Aurora, landscapes, reindeers, sami or sauna theme is welcomed
- cats (except some scary ones wearing glasses and crazy stuff like that ;) )
- seasonal (Christmas, Eastern etc.) card from your country
- diy cards are welcomed as well

Would be also great if you add date, write something about yourself, about your postcard, your favourite quote or just anything you want to say and fit to the card.

Looking forward to your postcard!
