Hi – my name is Jan.

I’m currently living in an assisted living facility in Fairfax, Virginia recovering from a recent stroke that affected the functionality of my right side. Since I am right-handed, my sister Mary is assisting me with writing my postcards.

I retired in 2008 after working for the United States government for 35 years.

I enjoy photography (specifically plants, flowers and animals), my family and trips to the beach (I love watching the sunrise on the Atlantic Ocean). I’ve always enjoyed crocheting, so once I have the use of my right side, I look forward to doing crochet projects again.

I look forward to “meeting” new people and would welcome any and all postcards. I would love to learn something about you, your life and your culture!
