I love to travel and have been on several cruises to islands in the Caribbean and have traveled to Europe numerous times and to China. I love to read and learn about new cultures. I like history and people! I like flowers and gardening. I like old movies, especially those from the 30s, 40s and 50s. I know some French vocabulary, but can't speak the language. I am a Social Worker, and still work one day a week. Other than that I just do fun things now that I am "mostly" retired. I used to love to write letters to my female cousins, and I had a former pen pal who lived in then Indonesia. I like postcards with local street or building scenes of foreign cities. I do not like domestic animal (cats and dogs) cards. I also like cultural scenes or symbols of the local customs. I love Renaissance art and churches and "old cities" in Europe.
