Hello!!

My name is Debbie, I hit the 60 year mark in 2022, am married to a wonderful man who is lucky to retire this year, mom to 2, dog mom to a 10 year old Boxer (the funniest breed in the dog world) and grandmother/Nani to twin girls born on Halloween 2014.

I have worked in the nursing home industry for 38 years and love our elderly so much, but COVID and the past 4 years have been a very emotional time for myself and my facility family. In the past I was a professional photographer, I love to camp, ride bikes, hike, travel and explore every inch of my country. I’ve been fortunate to visit a few countries outside the US and hope to see more in the future but time and money are solid limitations. I enjoy more crafts than I have time for, but my favorites are making fun greeting cards and postcards from paper, playing with fabric, large cross stitch pieces and I’m trying to learn watercolor.

I enjoy ALL the cards I have received so please don’t feel bad that I don’t mark them as favorites! I have a fondness for the crazy old Inge Look ladies as I want all of my nursing home residents to enjoy their last years to the fullest just like the aunties! I would like to mention to the US Postcrossers … I LOVE Lantern Press cards and other cards of that style : ) If you wonder what I would particularly enjoy … the cards in my "favorites" are some I have not received and styles I enjoy but please do not feel obligated.

I don’t mind an envelope as the US postal machines have been damaging most of my cards. Only if it doesn’t cost you extra!
