Hi! My name is Dawn and I'm an accountant living in Waddell, Arizona - USA a small town near Phoenix. I moved out to the country so that I could have horses - a dream I've had since I was kid.!! Most of my time (outside of work) is spent either volunteering at a therapeutic riding center or taking care of the many animals I have. But I have lots of hobbies - painting, sewing, bookmaking, collage art - pretty much if it's a craft, then I do it. I also love to read and have a very large book collection.

I have traveled all over the US but not a lot outside the country. I have visited Canada, Mexico, the Bahama's, and France. I would like to travel to other countries more - especially Italy and Greece - but most of my money is spent on taking care of my horses.

I'm a real animal lover - I have six cats, a dog, and three horses (one of which is a Clydesdale). In fact, my profile picture is of my Siamese cat, Piwacket, when he was a kitten.

I LOVE to receive mail and really like to create my own postcards to send. I have been coloring postcards over the last few months and decided to send them to my fellow Postcrossers. Just send me whatever you like - I would especially enjoy any handmade postcards and of course - pictures of cats and horses!
