We live in Polson, Montana, USA. The town has 5,000 people and is located on the Flathead Indian Reservation. The area is famous for its cherries so each year there is a big Cherry Festival in July. The town sits at the southern end of Flathead Lake, the largest freshwater lake in the western United States. Our summers are warm so we enjoy boating and swimming on the lake in addition to hiking in the mountains.

Matt and Leslie both teach at a middle school in Polson. Matt teaches U.S. and Montana History while Leslie teaches science.

Keyan is 20 and studying Civil Engineering at Montana State University.
Jazlyn is 17 and enjoys playing soccer and basketball. We enjoyed hosting foreign exchange students and in 2009-2010 hosted a student from Finland. During the 2010-2011 school year we hosted a student from Austria.

We enjoy geocaching, camping, sports, traveling, and scrapbooking. We look forward to receiving postcards that will help us learn more about the world outside the US. Please include the temperature in your town the day you send your card.
