My name is João and I'm currently moving to Santa Barbara, CA for a 2-year MA program. I'm originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

I've always loved learning more about other cultures. I had a penfriend from the US for seven years - who I met in the States and who I still keep in touch with.

I speak English and Portuguese, and would love to see your language on a postcard, provided that a translation into English is provided.

I love the arts, movies, traveling, being with friends.

I'm very open-minded regarding postcards, but what I love the most is architecture. I also love big structures, like bridges, tunnels, etc. I'm not a big fan of ad postcards. I prefer cards with such items from your own country or city.

I usually scan the postcards I send, but sometimes I'm out of home and I can't do it. So if you receive an unscanned postcard, I'll be glad if you can scan it on your side :)
