Hello! I am from the South in North Carolina where we have very hot summers and mild winters. I love to travel and see new places. I married a Dutch man , a Hollander for sure. We "bumped" into each other accidentally on the internet in 1998, became friends and then we fell in love. He moved to America and we were married in 1999. I love traveling to Europa where we visit his parents in Nederlands and his sister and her family in Duetsland (Germany). So we are quite the international family. When we are all together there is a mix of English, Dutch, and German. It gets very funny with all the translating!!

I love to read suspense criminal books and watch the same type show on television. I love to read cookbooks and try new recipes. I enjoy cooking for other people. We often grill (barbecue) on our deck that overlooks our swimming pool. We spend much time in the swimming pool and enjoy having friends come over and enjoy the water when the days are hot.

I love animals, especially black cats. I have a rescued cat who is mostly blind but quite love able. His name is Yumpy and he is a very social cat. I had another rescue cat named FiFi but sadly she was killed by a car 05/13 :(
