I'm not getting OLDER, I'm getting better! Retired teacher, writer, artist, child advocate; Single parent of eight, now all young adults; 4 1/2 grandbabies, ages 1-10. My home is right in the middle of North Carolina, 225 miles from the mountains to the west, and 254 miles from the Atlantic Ocean to the east. I move here from New Jersey 12 years ago and LOVE it here!

I love CATS, crafts, music of all kinds and experimenting with color and media in my art studio, Until recently, I sang in a women's acapella chorus, a regional, award-winning member of Sweet Adelines International. Thetight harmony is awesome!

INTERESTS? Cats, recipes, paper and digital collage, photography, listening to books-on-tape, chatting with friends over lunch, regional theater, and Indy & foreign films occupy most of my time.

POSTCARD PREFERENCES? up to you, but I do love postcards of local people, places and things of interest from your part of the world. I also enjoy regional recipe postcards and, of course, pictures of cats.

FINAL NOTE: I'll try to find a postcard that reflects your interests and preferences. Are YOU having trouble finding cards too? With the world all addicted to cell phone cameras and instant access, I guess postcards are going the way of the manual typewriter!
