Hello everyone, I'm Tina!

I am 26 years old and live in Southern California with my husband and our sun conure, Mango! I work as an elementary school teacher; this is my third year teaching 5th grade. I have 35 wonderful kiddos in my class so there's always something to do!

I'm usually very busy, but when I do have some spare time, I like to go hiking with my husband. Teaching is a very fulfilling job, but if you aren't careful, it will take over all your time! So, we try to go on at least one hike every month. Not only is it great exercise, it's a great way to spend time with someone. Because I have summers off, we use that time to go on a camping trip. This past summer we spend a week at the Grand Canyon!

If you'd like to share, I'd like to hear about one thing you've always wanted to do. Why haven't you done that thing yet? What do you feel is holding you back?

I'll share my answer: One thing I've always wanted to do is take a summer-long road trip during my time off school where I camp at as many national parks as I can. I wan't to visit: Death Valley, Mojave Desert, Sequoia and King's Canyon, Redwoods National Park, Yosemite, Badlands, Glacier National Park, Zion, Arches, Bryce Canyon, Grand Teton, and more! I haven't done it because, well I keep making excuses. That's really it if I'm being honest! I'm always saying: I don't have enough money, what if it's not safe, it will take a lot of planning, etc. I know I can do it! My goal is to do it before 2025!
