Hi! We are a family living on the northwest side of the Windy City--Chicago!!! We are Cub fans, Bear fans, and Northwestern University fans--Go Wildcats! And Loyola University Chicago fans--Go Ramblers!

We love books, chess, college football (American) and basketball, gardening, legos, and visiting our neighbor to the north: Door County, Wisconsin. We are very excited about hearing from people all around the world.

We welcome postcards of cool sites from your home, handmade cards (mom is an artist in this family!), holiday greetings, and cultural images (mom also studied anthropology in college). Mom and Dad are former college english profs and now work in the 'real' world, sadly. One son is a history major at Loyola University Chicago (send history related cards if you would like!) and the other son attends Catholic high school on the NW side of the city. But both still LOVE legos, Star Wars, and are crazed for all things Harry Potter! Mom is also a big fan of Hermione Granger, all things Victorian since she taught British Victorian lit (Elizabeth Barrett Browning), and loves doing paper crafting. Crocheting is a big new hobby as well. Dad is a fan of all movies--loves foreign films (well, that is 'foreign' to americans which isn't really foreign!) and film noir. Dad also can't get enough of hot ethnic food.
