About Shawn...

Hiya. I'm a wanderlust soul in my mid-20s, confined a single continent while I finish university. But if I count all the countries I've lived in and traveled to, I am 13 years old. I love traveling, reading, music, art, learning about cultures, memes, and haiku poems. I'm currently in the process of turning an old short school bus into my 80 sq foot tiny apartment on wheels!

My favorite kinds of postcards are homemade ones! But if creative craftyness isn't your forte, I also enjoy postcards with:
- animals (including mythical creatures like unicorns, dragons, mermaids, centaurs, jackalopes, etc.)
- dinosaurs
- art (impressionism, post-impressionism, modern, pop art, minimalism, collages, graffiti)
- engravings or diagrams
- single-frame scenic settings (landscapes, cityscapes, etc.)
- "retro" or vintage
- alternative cultures (hippie, psychedelia, dieselpunk, etc etc~)
- colorful illustrations/cartoons
- RAINBOWS!!
- Disney
- Star Wars
- Harry Potter
- pop culture

Go ahead and write about how your day went, how your pet's day went, what you ate for breakfast/brunch/lunch/supper/dinner/midnight snack. What's the weather like? What was the last movie you saw? Your favorite book, television show, movie quote, funniest joke you know -- whatever!

In conclusion... please, PLEASE! Don't send a "blank" postcard with only the postcard ID scrawled on the back. I'm about 99.99999% certain that nobody likes receiving a blank postcard. Those aren't any fun. Also... Don't send your postcard in an envelope! Envelopes lose the travel-worn spirit of the journey of a postcard.

Happy crossing! <3
