I am a homeschooling mother to 2 beautiful girls. I joined Postcrossing to use for our geography studies. Every time we receive a postcard, we'll find the country (and city if possible) on a map and talk about it. We'll also talk about the places we're sending postcards. I plan on getting a large world map and letting them put pins showing all the locations we've heard from/sent to.

We prefer the following types of postcards:

*maps of your country, state or city
*flags
*native culture
*native animals
*currency
*national monuments
*native costume/fashion
*native dishes/recipes
*foreign language
*famous people from your country
*national history
