We are the McLean family from Lumberton, North Carolina USA. My daughters and I send postcards together. The children attend a "global school" where they have teachers from all over the world. Each grade they study a different continent. This year one child is studying Africa and the other child is studying South America. We love to hear stories about the culture and people from different places.

We are interested in Girl Scouts/ Girl Guides around the world. Our Girl Scout troop is very involved in community service and mission projects. We love to try new activities and recently tried Geo-caching.

Harry Potter books are our favorite, but we love to read almost anything. Some of our favorite books are about kids in different countries.

We enjoy crafts. Scrapbooking, smocking, crochet and sewing.

The Atlantic ocean is about 80 miles from our home and many of the cards we send have pictures of the beach. We also have mountains in North Carolina. So we have the best of both worlds.

We love postcards with pictures of children in ethnic/ traditional costumes from your country.
