I live in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains in the state of Virginia, USA. Near Shenadoah National Park, John Denver wrote a famous song about it "Almost Heaven". I live with my husband and 2 dogs and 1 cat. I like hiking, biking, camping and gardening and origami. My husband plays banjo and we enjoy going wine tasting and listening to live music on weekends.

I love all postcards, they truly make me smile when I see them in the mailbox - it's really a simple joy.

I like postcards that;
- famous cultural or historical sights or show something special about where you live
- all animals and nature cards
- recipes of your favorite food, or a traditional dish from your country
- art from local or famous artists from your country
- I especially like homemade cards - something new from something old :)

If you need an idea of what to write:
- what you see when you look out your window while you are writing
- advice on marriage!!
- a special quote or song lyrics
- recommendations on movies or Netflix

I am interested in the weather and temperatures too.
