I live in Lexington, KY, but I am originally from Minnesota. I am a social justice lawyer and I have a lot of creative hobbies. My main hobbies are sewing, scrapbooking, art journaling, embroidery, and mountain biking. I love cats. I love arts and crafts (it must be the midwesterner in me), and I love snail mail. I also love to travel.

When I first started postcrossing, I was really taken aback by people's extensive "wish lists" of the type of cards they wished to receive. However, now that I've been doing this for a couple of months, I have now formed some preferences myself. I prefer art cards. I don't really care so much about the postcards that showcase your hometown. Harsh, but true. I like cards of paintings and other art, or just cards that are funny or quirky.
