I'm a postcard collector and collect various other things. Enjoy traveling and learning about different cultures. I enjoy taking photos. History is fascinating and I especially like Americana. I play the guitar and bass. I am married and a retired Hazmat Specialist.

I live in Utah, Salt Lake City area. Utah is one of the most beautiful of the United States, having the most National Parks (5) and seven National Monuments.

Any postcard you would like to send would be appreciated and so would a short note about your interests or where you live.

If you need ideas, I particularly like postcards of:

-Farming, especially vegetable, fruit or fiber crops (the only flowers I like are flowers farmed commercially, such as rose and lavender fields-farmed for their essential oils)

-Salt "farming"

-Produce markets or packing facilities

-Industrial processes or factories

-Hydroelectric, power plants, ice manufacturing plants

-Highway/road related humor

-Named USA Auto Trails such as the Lincoln Highway, the Dixie Overland Highway, or the Lee Highway, just to name a few

-USA federal highways (for example US Route 66, US 101, etc.)

-Highways outside of the USA

-Highway or bridge construction

-Roadside curiosities (examples: Cadillac Ranch in Texas, “The World’s Largest Ball of Twine”, etc.)

-Roadside or sidewalk vendors

-Duck or chicken humorous

-Jackalopes (Jack Rabbit/Antelope hybrid exaggerations found in the western U.S.A., maybe Canada)

-Advertising postcards, especially of products or establishments

-Thanksgiving

-Any other holidays, observances, annual events

-Unusual landscapes of your country
