About Amanda...

Hi there! My name is Amanda. I've been away from Postcrossing for a few years and decided to come back.

I am a pharmacist living in gorgeous Colorado with my husband, Chase, and our shelter pup, Nacho.

I like any postcard with a vintage or newsprint feel to it, or cards that are black and white.

I really, really, REALLY like snakes--my favorites are corn snakes and Western hognoses.

My other hobbies include nail painting and volunteering at a local animal shelter. (The same shelter where we got Nacho, in fact!) I *love* both dogs and cats, but if I'm forced to pick one, I'd pick dogs, only because I grew up with them and feel like I understand them better. Plus, cat allergy, so.

My husband, Chase, is a giant nerd and loves Star Wars, D&D, LOTR, etc. He is not officially receiving postcards but I will be sharing all of the ones I receive with him.

But I trust your judgement, and I'm sure any postcard you decide to send me will be wonderful. :) Often some of my favorite postcards are ones I never would have thought to ask for. So if you're completely at a loss, send me a card you would like to receive. Or, send me the 22nd card in your collection (I saw this on someone else's profile and now I'm stealing the idea).

PLEASE write the date on your card! And please do not write the postcard ID along the bottom edge, as the US Postal Service prints a barcode there, which can make the ID hard to read. But if you don't know what else to put, tell me an idiom or saying in your language and the English translation. Or tell me the story of how you got that postcard.

I look forward to receiving your postcard!
