My name is Candis and I live in the beautiful sunshine state of Florida. I have two wonderful parents who I love dearly and live with.
I've had brain surgery in 2003 and been mostly seizure free since. Other problems have stemmed from having brain surgery. Every five years my brain will collapse, shut down for a few weeks IF I don't take my medicine. But no worries because I always do.
I love to write and have hypergraphia, which is closely related to Epilepsy. The seizures may be gone, but the love for writing is living and thriving in my heart.
I work as a janitor at a local Anytime FItness and I love to do 5k-10k races. My favorite thing about being a janitor is how easy it is (as a job and easy to get a work out doing it) and how I get a free gym membership. I wouldn't be able to afford it on my own.
My sister is a corporate banker for a Florida bank called Suntrust and my brother is a Blackhawk helicopter pilot.
I still don't know what I wanna be when I grow up and I'm 30.
Let's face it, I don't want to grow up. It ain't like I'll ever get kicked out. Plus, I am lucky to have parents with a lot of money. I mean, I could never afford this hobby on my own.
Did you know the U.S.A stamps go up in price by a nickel every year?
I have one request for cards, Maximum ones because here in Tampa I can trade one of that kind of card for 5 blank cards from a collector. So those are of value and I can not find American ones...anywhere. Not in person or any websites. I am still looking.
Besides that, I ain't picky about the gifts you receive from strangers.
I'm grateful anyone is taking time to write to me. We all may be strangers but appreciating writing with our hands (by writing or coloring cards) instead of the computer has always been an art I love the most.
If I do ask for anything, please tell me some history of your life or home, even if you are from St. Petersburg, Russia (since most of the people on here seem to live there). I went to college in St. Petersburg, Florida, so I would like to learn more about the cold one instead of the small city on the beach.
Eh, actually, I would like to learn about the history of anywhere. Even if you come from a country that's supposedly an enemy. Just because politicians don't get along doesn't mean people shouldn't get along.
Pictures on post cards are optional, but super at the same time. I send postcards with pictures of Florida and color lots and lots of cards on the back and send them to people on here. Y'all may be strangers, but I about always get happy responses back via e-mails. Trust me, they're beautiful!
I am looking forward to hearing from all of y'all!
I am interested in direct swaps.
