Hi! Привет! (Sveiki!)

I don't like these open-ended things...

My hobbies include crochetting, photography, web development, creating ebooks for Project Gutenberg, and singing especially at church. I also decorate cakes but mostly not as a hobby - I work at a bakery.

My favorite things: my Catholic faith, my pet Siberian kitty, jigsaw puzzles, various logic puzzles, and books, especially science fiction. And swimming... and nature... and random dot stereograms! and....

My favorite colors are purple, and green, although not necessarily together; and the postcards don't have to have these colors in them.

My latest hobby is making useful (and pretty) things out of used plastic bags. I have made summer hats, purses, beach bags, baskets, and dish scrubbies. The advantages of "plarn" (plastic yarn) are the preservation of the environment, the ease of washing, the way it holds the shape you want, light weight and pleasant to touch, and the availability of the source material! Now that people know how I use them, I get donations of all sorts of plastic bags.
