About Lisa...

Snail mail is one of my favorite methods of communication with people who aren't local to me.

The "Liberate Your Art Post Card Swap" was how I began networking with other people via annual post card swaps ..The LYA swap takes place every March.

It is a treat to receive postcards which are designed by the sender, that express his or her individuality and creativity..I enjoy seeing pictures of the sender's hometown, art or other favorite activities..

I am an avid photographer who loves to shoot seascapes and other images of nature! When I am in the mood, I also enjoy still life photography..

After I am finished shooting, I will upload my shots to my computer right away if I can.. I like to play in PhotoShop.. In post processing, some of my shots become surreal compositions..

The images pictured on the postcards I send are my own work..

I also spend my down time making my own yarn via the drop spindle method.

It is rewarding for me to make a wall hanging, scarf, or other useful item out of my own homespun yarn.. Many of the drop spindles I own are pieces of art in of themselves..

I enjoy visiting art museums and galleries.. I have fun learning about the history and the process behind a piece of art that I am viewing..

I would love to find out how people in other areas of the world live day to day life..It is awesome to learn the inspiration behind the creativity that is all around me..
