Born and raised in the Midwest (Iowa), I consider the Pacific Northwest (Oregon) Home. I live within two hours of the Pacific Ocean and Mt Hood in the Cascade mountain range.

I am a wife, Mother and grandmother. My husband and I have been married for 52 years and have three children and six grandchildren, all of whom live in the Portland area.

My interests include reading, knitting, flower gardening, 20th century USA stamp collector, and creating mixed media art. I’m also learning to play the ukulele. My favorite music is big band sounds and blues, which I'm learning to play on the uke.

I belong to two book clubs and an art critique group and periodically attend ukulele festivals where all ages and levels of playing the uke gather to jam.. It's so much fun even though I'm not that good yet.
