Greetings!

My name is Brianne. I am a 26 year-old social work student/graphic artist. I share a home at the New Jersey shore with my dad, stepmother, and our grumpy yet lovable geriatric cat, Kahlua. The arts hold a special place in my heart. This includes visual art, music, poetry, and literature of all types. I am also VERY passionate about live theater and performing arts.

Specifically, I enjoy receiving postcards with pictures or artwork from the country of origin. For example: maps, paintings, street scenes, landscapes, or anything typical of daily life in your country. I also enjoy weird and quirky postcards with surrealistic, macabre (especially skulls!), or silly pictures/artwork. I also REALLY enjoy receiving *homemade* postcards. But really, any postcard sent to me will be lovingly received :-)

When sending a postcard, feel free to tell me a little bit about yourself and your country. I would love to travel the world someday. But until then, your postcards allow me to do so! Not sure what to say? Share your dreams. Transcribe or write a poem. Draw a picture! Offer a joke. Recommend your favorite song or book. Describe your favorite food/cocktail. Say anything at all! Your postcard will be traveling a long distance, and personalizing it brings it to life.

Two special requests I have for postcards: 1. Please write the date when you send them, and 2. I would greatly appreciate you writing a word or phrase specific to your native language, since I love to learn and I am a linguaphile at heart.
