First of all, I love my husband and my son Lennert. He's 13 years old now and he can make his mother mad all the time but also smile a couple of times a day...

I have many hobbies: reading and writing are very important to me. I just love the feeling of vanishing into another world when I'm reading or writing. I hope to complete writing a book of my own, that's a dream I'm working on.

Further on, I play the flute and the oboe in a concert band. I also listen a lot to music, especially alternative music.

I'm a teacher and I really like it. My 15- and 16-years-olds are not the easiest audience, but it's more than my job just to make them enthusiastic about languages like Dutch and German.

I would like to receive postcards from all over the world. You can write about your hobbies, your daily life but also about your fears or about the things that make you happy. I also love special quotes. I like cooking, so maybe a recipe can be very useful and exotic! What are your favourite books and songs? What experience changed your life for ever?
