I grew up in western Pennsylvania and lived in Athens, Rome, upstate New York and southern California before moving to central Arkansas, where I teach Latin and ancient Greek at a small college. I enjoy reading novels, taking photographs, and book-binding.

I tend to prefer single-view over multi-view cards, but ultimately any card that you would like to send I'll be grateful to receive.

Here are some things I'm particularly fond of:
- beautiful landscapes
- views of architecture
- art postcards
- close-up views
- cards made from photographs you've taken
- quirky or unusual cards
- interesting ad postcards
- images from children's literature and picturebooks
- birds
- flowers
- trees
- clouds
- images of textiles (weaving, needlework, fabric)
*But* I wouldn't want you to feel bad if you don't have one of these types of cards to send!

I'm a vegetarian, so images related to hunting, fishing, or eating meat can be a little difficult for me to enjoy.
