I live in a neighborhood of Boston, MA with my orange cat, Harry. I like poetry, art, music, trees, learning about other cultures, traveling, reading a good book, rainy days, nostalgia. I read quite a lot of books, and on all sorts of topics, but mainly fiction, memoir, and poetry. I love everything to do with books - different typefaces, old woodcuts, photos of authors, I love reading about traveling. Tell me about a trip you took, or how you spend a Saturday.

I've been doing yoga for a while now and I'm interested in learning more about it and Buddhism. I like to make things - I knit, paint, take photographs, etc.

I love Doctor Who and most things British, but the whole reason I signed up for Postcrossing is to find out about people in other places than my own. Do you make cheese? Take the subway every day? Speak 10 languages? Knit for charity? Run marathons?

I would love to get cards with illustrations, paintings, black and white photographs, etc., but also trees, fairies, funny things that are distinct to your country.
