About Elise...

Bonjour, Salve, Hello, Hola fellow postcrossers !

I'm curious about life and would love to travel the world to know it all. But lack of money and time don't allow me to do so. Postcards are here to solve the problem so I'm looking forward to seeing my mailbox groaning under the weight of your postcards !

I don't have any specific wishlist for now. All kind of postcards are welcome but if you really want ideas about things I like :

- landscapes,
- funny drawings and illustrations,
- photographs,
- black & white photographs and illustrations,
- ladybirds,
- everything related to the Little Prince (I collect (modestly) the books in different languages),
- vintage cards,
- street art and streets in general,
- land art,
- maxicard,
- homemade cards,
- long windy roads,
- maps of all kind,
- historic monument,
- Unesco world heritage sites,
- books,
- puffins, penguins, squirrels,
- food, spices, fruits, veggies and recipes,
- modern architectures...

Have a look at my favourites to see what I like(they are cards I haven't received ... yet ! ^^ )

I would prefer receive real postcards more than advertissement cards and such (unless they are vintage ads).

I would love to learn new languages and idioms from your mother tongue or other languages you know. Poetry and drawings for who's creative are welcome too. Or if you want to share your thoughts.

Please do write something about you, your city or anything you like. I love cooking, baking in particular, so feel free to give me any traditional recipes from the place you are from or your grandmother's favorites :)

It would be nice if you could write the date on your postcard and why not what the weather is like on the day you write it.
If you know any french, italian or spanish please write with those languages as it is good to practice :) I'm myself practicing everyday as I'm French but live in Scotland working in the tourism industry.

It would be nice if you could scan the postcard before you send it as I have no possibility of doing so.

Happy postcrossing to all of you and hope to read from you soon !
