Hello! My name is Kai (or Aurie) and I just graduated college where I studied marine biology and environmental studies. I'm a big fan of nature, fish, and museums!

Some of my other hobbies include coffee, video games, Dungeons and Dragons, and reading. I enjoy reading memoirs and fantasy, mostly, and my favorite author is Ursula Le Guin. While school takes up most of my time, I do have some other interests and hobbies.

I also have a tuxedo cat named Calypso and a golden retriever named Bowie. Feel free to tell me about your own pets, or your favorite marine or aquatic animal!
