About Elaine...

Hello! I am Elaine. I live in Boston with my husband and my many plants. I enjoy nature, art, and poetry. On weekends, you can find me exploring garden centers in the Boston area, hiking, and strolling in museums. I recently also got into knitting. It's such a great stress-relief activity!

I really appreciate the opportunity to connect and hear from you in a different part of the country/world! If you don't know what to write about, you can tell me what you find beautiful in life, or what you are going to do next after you write the card! If you have a favorite quote, book or line of poetry, I would love to hear that as well.

I will cherish any card you send. But my favorites are cards on:
- art (paintings/works from your museum visits or hand-drawn illustrations). Some artists I love: Vermeer, Rembrandt, Monet, Picasso, Mucha, Titian....
- cards that show your local life, architecture, or landscape
- nature or plants
- Edition Tausendschoen
- Inge Look
- Lou Paper
- Japan World Heritage set
- watashidayori
- Gotochi seasonal postbox (if you leave your address, I will return 2 postcards)
- If possible, please no cards showing nudes or real animals. Drawings/paintings are fine!

I also love stamps. Below are just some of the themes that I collect. You would make my day if you use one of those on your card =)
- stamps showing artworks
- stamps showing cartoon characters
- Europa stamps
- Tree and flowers stamps
- Antique/Old stamps
- Olympics stamps
- Any stamp actually because I have learned so much about different cultures and countries through stamps (e.g. how to say Merry Christmas in Irish), and I would love to see your beautiful stamps. Thank you in advance!

Happy Postcrossing~

p.s. I can read and write simplified and traditional Chinese -- so if you want to write in Chinese, please!
