I live near the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore, on the southern tip of Lake Michigan. Chicago is an hour away by car or suburban train. Work in a university library, enjoy reading biographies, travel books and history. Was born in northern Germany. Have a daughter and a grandson of 16 years. Enjoy travel, good food and conversation and movies. I love cats and have one 20 years old. I like to fix things around the house myself, whenever I can. People are fascinating and I enjoy making new acquaintances and learning new things. Many types of music are anjoyable to me but anong my favorites are folk music, rock and blues.
