Hello!

I'm Alyssa. I grew up on a farm in Nebraska where my family raises beef cattle, corn, wheat and alfalfa.

I teach English as a second language online with my students in China. I have lived and taught in Tallinn, Estonia for a few years. Now, I am teaching 3rd grade in my hometown while I complete a master's degree in education.

Adventure-seeker and coffee-drinker. Even better when mixed with good company. Exploring breweries in new places tops the list of things to do for kicks and giggles. I love finding local craft beers from different places.

Traveling is my huge hot button. I love to explore new places around the globe and US. So far, I have been to Benin, Latvia, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Norway, and Germany.

I have lived in Estonia and northern India. Whether traveling internationally or just across Nebraska, I love finding unique doors and taking photos of them. I love learning words in different languages. I would love to learn a word or phrase that is special to you!

I love country line and swing dancing and going on adventures. Storm chasing is one of my favorite summer things. Nebraska has fascinating and beautiful storms - especially in the summer.

But most of all, I love stories and snail mail! I'd love to learn more about you and your spot on the globe!
