What to say about me?

I'm a nurse, I live in the north west of England with my husband and my 2 children, Elijah, 3 and Martha, 6 months.

I dont mind what postcards I receive, as any postcard dropping through my letterbox would be a thrill! But particular likes include

contemporary art,
nature,
trees,
winter,
snow,
Moomins,
Rainbows (and rainbow colours)
owls,
castles,
Harry Potter,
knitting,
food,
dragons,
mountains,
The northern lights,
sheep,
the night sky,
stars,
our solar system...is that a random enough selection?! I would prefer not to receive comedy/funny cards. If there's a saying or quote in the card, a translation into English would be appreciated!

I'm not particularly well travelled in the world, but I've visited quite a lot of parts of the U.K. One of my favourite world cities in Berlin, which I found fascinating. My husband and I spent our honeymoon in northern Finland in January 2012, and had a fantastic time snowmobiling, going husky sledding...it was wonderful! I'd be hugely excited if I got a postcard from Finland!

I like to be happy, I like to be positive. Sometimes I fail but I try. I'd love to hear what makes other people happy. What makes you smile, laugh? How do you make other people happy? How do you stay positive when things are difficult? Do you have any words or sayings you live by?

I believe in love and tolerance. I believe in building bridges, not walls.
