About Zara-Vivien...

***** Update: sorry I haven't been able to send postcards for ages because of sickness, stress, school business and university applications. So if I owe you a postcard or a private swap, please message me! I don't know how busy the future will be, but I will do my best to get back to you!
I have just bought a set of black and white postcards of DC and I still have lots from New York, Canada, California, Boston and some from virginia *****

Hey I'm a Brit teen but I've been living in Washington DC for the last 2 years.

My mother is Spanish, so I'm fluent too. I have studied French for 6 years and love it! Italian is beautiful (and very similar to Spanish) so if you speak Italian, please write to me in it. Ditto for Portugese.

I adore the Lord of the Rings (can't wait for the Hobbit to be released in December!!) I also love shojo anime and manga, especially CLAMP.

I like discovering beauty in unlikely places, and puzzling for ages over the right words to choose to describe it.

I would like postcards with photos of:
*famous monuments, fountains, statues, buildings from your country or area, at night or in the snow. I don't mind multiview

*nature, especially rivers, waterfalls, trees, native animals and botanical gardens. However I like the colours to be bright (I hate grey), but not digitally over saturated

*traditional costumes, crafts, instruments, festivals, folklore, myths and legends from your country

*Historical postcards especially castles and mansions, or tell
me about any famous women from your country

If you can't think of anything to write, tell me what your favourite films, singers, directors, colours, food etc are.

If you speak a language I haven't listed, please write something in it and then translate it. If the language has a different alphabet, please also write it phonetically :)

I'm happy to swap, especially with people who live near/have been to famous places of natural beauty eg Himalayas, Tibet, Uluru (Ayers Rock), or Pamukkale (Turkey). :D

Happy Postcrossing!
