Hi everyone!

I live on the cloudy/rainy south coast of the UK. The plus side of this is that it's perfect weather for reading books. As of such, I work as a bookseller and love my job. Talking to people about books, recommending them and getting recommendations back is very satisfying for me.
My love of literature is very broad and I always push myself to read either the massive tomes of classics or even short essays full of wisdom.
My favourite authors though are: Flannery O'Connor, Haruki Murakami, Walter Tevis, Shirley Jackson, Alfred Hayes (My BIGGEST recommendation if you haven't read him!) Albert Camus and Alexandre Dumas.
Please let me know if you've read anything interesting recently or even tell me your favourite book and why!

Film has been a huge passion of mine from a young age, although recently I haven't watched so much and have fallen off watching classics and "best of" lists. But I do have a card that allows me to go see unlimited movies at the cinema, so I am constantly visiting with friends and we watch many of the new releases. Any post cards you may have related to film would be much appreciated.

Recently I have taken up playing the piano after hearing one of my favourite David Bowie songs, 'Time'. If you are a fan of Bowie's please tell me what your favourite song/album is. If you happen to have any postcards of him that would be amazing.

One country I cannot wait to visit is Japan. Due to how expensive it is to get there from England I am slowly saving to do a two week trip in Tokyo. I do love the architecture, history (even the romanticised parts) and culture of Japan. I've not travelled to many countries but I'm excited to hear from other people and add places to my list.

Although I do have those few requests for postcards there is no pressure at all, any kind would be much appreciated. But if you can find any literary ones, famous artists and paintings that would also be very nice. Let me know something interesting about you or your day, I look forward to hearing from you!
