I'm brand new to this! Please forgive the "no name and picture". This is my first writing group and I'm a bit concerned over privacy. I'm sure I'll loosen up in time! I started with this group and will graduate to having penpals sometime soon. LOL I want to hear from people all over the world.

I am an adult single man. I'm pretty eclectic and have a wide range of interests. I'm religious yet also spiritual. I'm liberal and open minded. I support diversity. I'm educated and yet "stump dumb" at times. Hahaha! I am blessed in having a wonderful group of friends and family. I live my life in peace and harmony striving for such. I believe happiness is achieved through contentment and joy. I believe in magic and miracles, and that it's all around us if one would only take the time to look closely. I find most things exciting and interesting and love to learn about pretty much everything.

I studied business, ran and owned, successful businesses and come from a family of creative and successful artists and engineers. I kind of think I came from a family of old hippies. :) I love creative thinkers!!! Weirdos, freaks, geeks and nerds all speak the language of my people!!! I was athletic. I consider myself an artist. I like reading, music, theater, movies, writing, and arts and crafts.

I like most arts but am more of a crafter: Woodworking, Gardening, Handcrafted Candles, Soapmaking, Pottery, Crochet, Baking. A little of everything! I once worked in a bakery. I like "from scratch" baking (bread, pizza,cookies, cakes and pie), but in a pinch, mixes will do. I like working with my hands and don't mind getting a little messy and dirty. I feel when you make things by hand you "put a little bit of magic in everything you make". Your passions and energy really shows through. Maybe that's why I like writing letters and wanted to join a penpal group!

I am well traveled. I have been to Great Britain and Canada. I would like to visit French Canada. I spent a little vacation time in London. I studied French language for years in school and now as an adult, most of it escapes me. I am starting to re-learn the French language again. I have been to and lived most everywhere in the United States. I used to live near the beach and ocean. I currently live in the Bluegrass region in the State of Kentucky in the United States. We are known for our Bourbon Whisky and Horses! I live in the country surrounded by farms and rolling hills of green green grass.

Everything grows here!!! I love Gardening!!! I love vining flowers and vegetables. I especially love growing tomatoes and pumpkins! I think I like the Fall Season and Halloween the best. I also love the soft glow and blinking lights of fireflies (we call them lightning bugs here) and Hummingbirds. I like animals. Some dogs. I prefer cats.
