About Violeta...

¡Hola a todos/as!

My name is Violeta and I am 27. I was born and raised in Córdoba, a very beautiful city in south Spain very well-known because of its medieval Mosque, but I have lived in many places, like Granada, Madrid, Köln (in Germany), and Rome (Italy). I am currently living in Santiago de Compostela, a huge city you may know because of its famous cathedral and because is the final point of the 'Camino de Santiago', a Christian pilgrimage that has become very popular in the last decades. Here in Santiago, I'm doing a Ph.D. in Philosophy and I am teaching philosophy at the university too. I am also studying Medicine, which I am enjoying a lot.

As you can check one of my main hobbies is studying, but I also like traveling, reading, spending time with family and friends, playing sax and piano, watching films, and chiefly playing and walking with my dog Tempo (a Schnauzer mini).

For me, Postcrossing is a form of traveling and knowing about other people and cultures in a simple but deep way. Because of that, your words on the postcards are as important as the postcard itself. If you don't know what to write on it, here are some ideas:

- You can recommend to me a film, a TV series, a book, or a song that has touched you recently or that you like especially for any reason.

- A recipe for a typical dish from your country.

- A riddle or a logical game.

- Special places to visit in your city/country.

- Reasons because you do Postcrossing or anything about your life.

Concerning my preferences for postcards, I like almost everything, but if you want to make my day you can send me:

- Birthday postcards (around June).

- Religious postcards.

- Handmade postcards with many stickers.

- Postcards related to philosophy and medicine.

- Postcards related to music and composers.

- Art postcards (I like Italian art).

- Dog postcards, especially with Schnauzers.

- Postcards with astonishing landscapes from your country.

- 3D postcards.

However, everything you want to send me is going to be very welcome :)

Thank you very much for reading this and happy Postcrosing to you all!

Violeta

P.S. I am collecting magnets from around the world. If you send me one, I will send you a postcard in gratitude (don't forget to write your full address)!
