My name is Valerie, or Val for short. I am 75 years old and a widow with 2 children, 1 son & 1 daughter. I also have 2 Grandchildren. I live is Grays which is about 20 miles East of London.

I am retired and have been for 15 years. I fill my time with lots of interests and socialising. I particularlly like musical shows and go whenever I can. I attend a senior citizens club where I serve as Secretary (organising social events and entertainments). This keeps me busy and I really enjoy it. I also sing in a local choir, strictly for fun!

I enjoy travelling and have been to quite a few countries and I hope to do more in the future.

I like gardening, reading and of course, shopping!

I am interested in receiving any postcards (not cats though).
