We are a group of ESL students from a small town in East Texas. This area of Texas is not as western as other places in Texas. We are located on a lake and are surrounded by forests.

Spanish is our first language, although we only speak Spanish, not read or write it. Most of us were born in the United States, but one of us was born in Mexico and moved here 3 years ago. We are in 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th grades.

We would love to receive postcards showing the animals, buildings, and scenery of your country. We have a map of the world in the hall where we display all the postcards we receive. The entire school loves looking at them! We have some kids as little as three-years-old, all the way up to kids who are twelve-years-old.

We are interested in hearing about what kinds of foods you eat, what kind of clothes you wear, what languages you speak (and would love to see it written!), and what you do for fun.
