I live in Austin, the sunny capitol of Texas. I'm 34, married and work in a bookstore. I love reading, creating artwork, hiking, knitting, travel and learning.

When I was a little girl my father was in the military which meant I moved around quite a bit. I lived in Germany when I was quite young and I have lived in many different parts of the USA. That is how I developed my love of travel. I have collected postcards for years, but they've just been sitting in a drawer. Now I want to share my collection with the world. :)

I prefer my postcards to have a stamp and no envelope (if possible.) I like the bumps and marks of a long journey on my cards. The kinds of postcards I enjoy include (in no particular order):

animals native to your homeland
hedgehogs, guinea pigs, mice, cats, dogs
dinosaurs, fossils, geology
archaeology
artwork
handmade postcards
vintage or retro postcards
maps & geography
US State Capitol buildings (I collect them!)

space or spaceships

Old or interesting trees
books, libraries, bookstores

old ladies (or art by Inge Look)

classic movies or a movie you really like
TV shows like Doctor Who, Battlestar Galactica
Studio Ghibli movies

These are just a few of the many things I like. You can always surprise me with a card you like and tell me about it. If you draw a picture of a turtle that would be so fun! :)
