I'll do my best to send you a postcard you'll like!

I like to travel and try to take at least two backpacking trips a year, though that's been difficult the past few years while I've been tuck behind a desk (plus, you know, the whole global pandemic thing). Postcards are my souvenir of choice, and I tend to end up with more than I can give to family or put up on my wall, so here I am!

I also make my own postcards for fun (usually collages) but I only send those to people who specifically mention that they accept those on their profile.

I really like getting postcards with:
*local art
*local wildlife, esp. birds, reptiles, & insects
*natural landscapes (preferably somewhere you've been)
*history - events, locations, people, etc
*vintage art/book covers/ads
*queer themes

Handmade cards are OK too!

I'm always interested in hearing about:
*your favorite short poem or quote
*what your pets are doing
*why you bought the postcard
*colloquial terms & idioms specific to your region
*a musical artist you recommend (+ why)
*interesting local historical trivia
