I'm a Youth Services Librarian for Winnetka-Northfield Public Library District in Winnetka, Illinois USA. www.winnetkalibrary.org Working at a library is much fun and engaging!
Here's our promotional video for Summer Reading last year and I'm in it. Laugh as much as you want. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=802snlCrsXQ
When I'm not working I'm usually....
Performing - I belong to a comedy troupe, Playmakers Laboratory. Kids write it, adults perform it, humans love it. (website: www.playmakerslab.org)
Journaling - Been chronicling my history for over 35 years.
Comic Books - Collecting for almost 40 years - X-Men, Fantastic Four, Avengers, Birds of Prey, and Nightwing are some of the over 25 titles I get. Every night before I sleep I post about the comic book that I read. #comicbeforebed Check out my instagram profile to see what I've been reading.
Reading - I generally read fiction that slants towards fantasy and science-fiction, juvenile through adult.

I live on the north side of Chicago in a neighborhood called Rogers Park. Lake Michigan isn't far so I enjoy walking by it in all the seasons.
I'm open to ALL postcards, especially the ones you think people don't like. But if you need some inspiration - anything with sci-fi, fantasy, heroes, mythology, surrealism, libraries, and literature. I'm fine with cards in envelopes too.
Write to me about
- a book that you want to recommend
- a goal to achieve
- a fear that you conquered
- a game I should be playing
- if you could have a superpower which one would you have
- a food/meal that you enjoy having repeatedly
- a secret you want to share (and yes technically I know it's no longer a secret since I know)
- anything that comes to mind
I'm also open to ALL stickers and washi tape, however you want to decorate the postcard.
Thank you for being amazing!
