I am a young 60-year old retiree who lives with a partner (he is also retired) and two Pomeranians (little yappers). We live in Alexandria, Virginia, about 10 miles from Washington, DC. We enjoy going to the various museums in DC, as well as going to the many varied activities they have on the DC Mall. I spend my days doing a bit of gardening, making Artist Trading Cards (ATCs) for swaps, reading good books, crocheting caps for people undergoing chemotherapy as well as preemie baby caps for babies born in under-developed countries, doing a little shopping, and doing as little as possible cleaning and cooking.

I like postcards showing the country or uniqueness of a country -- it is my little way of traveling around the world!!! I also enjoy seeing the different stamps used as I tend to think that all postage looks just like ours in the US.

I send only written postcards with postage affixed.
