I’m blessed to live near to the Sea, the sound of the seagulls calling out, fog horns when the sea mist rolls in 💙, a crow family regularly sit on my chimney , their ‘cawing’ … these are the sounds of home . The passing of the seasons, the different colours and smells, seasonal foods and the changes in Nature. All of this makes life special to me.
Loves …..
I am creative and love trying different seasonal crafts, baking etc at the moment I’m crocheting, doing mixed media projects, patchwork and tapestry.
Music for different moods, but particularly 70's\80's Rock, and Dance Anthems .
Reading - piles of books await my attention in most rooms :), and my garden is my haven, my garden seat calls me, where I can can loose hours reading with my dog and cat alongside me (because wherever there are blankets they believe it’s for them ) ☺️
Women’s history, and love learning about all the women of interest from other countries I might never have known about before .
Folk art and history, customs and traditions, how people celebrate and foods they eat, all the social history that makes us who we are.
Films… Nothing better 🤔☺️ than a Sunday afternoon, snuggled under a cosy blanket (again accompanied by dog and cat - it’s a blanket thing I’m sure ☺️) and watching a really good film!
Enjoy watching banger racing and speedway.

Recently had an amazing birthday trip to Amsterdam - love decorated pushbikes/cycles!
I love discovering a postcard on the door mat - it’s like a surprise gift 💝
If you are creative I like handmade cards , decorated cards, washi tape, stickers and seasonal cards at Yule/Christmas , Easter, Halloween etc.
I just like getting snail mail 💜
