Hello, My name is Tim,

I live in Winchester, which is a very beautiful city in the south of England. I'm a Librarian at the University of Reading. I live with my wife, Claire, who is a writer. We have a son at University in Oxford and a daughter who will be going to University in London next year. We also have a cat called Alan. I like to read and walk, sometimes at the same time. I also love river swimming.

Mostly I like chickens.

My wife and I do lots of art projects together like writing messages and hiding them in books, taking a photograph every day (we've been doing that for a long long time), and reading our short stories in public.
I'm excited by this project and look forward to hearing from people from all around the world, and sticking some lovely postcards up in our kitchen.

Things I love, besides my family:
Banjos, music festivals, reading, cooking, cinema, hiking, our cat Alan, Bonnie Prince Billy, Sweden, wild swimming, playing Upwords, crosswords, dinner parties, hiding things, finding other things, Richard Brautigan, my vegetable garden, being a vegetarian, sourdough bread, Californian zinfandel, black coffee, my wedding ring, Gene Clark.
