Hello! I first began Postcrossing in 2010 when I was teaching English in Japan. I absolutely loved hearing people's stories from around the world, and any excuse to go shopping for cute Japanese postcards was fine by me. I used to collect gotouchi cards there as well. Now that I'm back in the USA, I've started a new account and can't wait to start up again!
Now I'm an accountant by day and also work part-time as a coordinator with a foreign exchange program (ciee.org) in which I match high school aged exchange students with families here in AZ. My husband and I also hosted a student of our own from Japan this past year. Students in the program travel from more than 50 countries, and it's so much fun to meet them all!
I am open to receiving any type of card. :)
