About Lorraine...
In the summer I live in Minnesota and am a MN Mater Naturalist. We work on volunteer projects to improve our parks and woodlands. in the winter I live in Arizona where I work at a shelter for migrants seeking asylum. For 2 years I have studied Spanish so that I can better help the families who come to us, however many many folks arrive from all over the world hoping for a new life in our wonderful country. ¿ Hablas Español ? As a pharmacist I have worked many places for Native American tribes, especially for the Navajo Nation in the American Southwest. Hobbies? Giving things a new home via eBay; reading nonfiction with a special interest in WWII and The Holocaust, and history of American Indian cultures. Birdwatching and love of nature have taken me to many countries. I love travel and road trips, formerly with my late husband; now with friends or my adult granddaughter with whom I share many interests. I really appreciate bird postcards. Cheers! Lorraine
