Swanlander

I am married with one daughter and two grandchildren. I live in the north of England, Hull, Yorkshire - near to the Humber Bridge. I used to work as an advocate for the elderly and people with mental health problems but just recently retired.
I love dachshunds (am currently on my 4th - Frankie) and my interests are reading (American fiction), films, cookery and gardening. I have now finished work on my family history - it's taken nearly 7 years! I love visiting Berlin, where my mother was born. I adore the city and its people. I look forward to receiving postcards of any kind from anywhere in the world. I would love to know what your favourite book and/or film is and to hear about your family, pets and travel plans.
