Husband,father, grandfather and great grandfather. First and foremost a family man. I love gardening, photography, cooking, walking (slowly) driving (fast but safely). reading, especially English history (more especially The Tudors)
Interested in other cultures and customs and the way different families interact.
I live in Cornwall a beautiful part of the U.K.
I would like to receive pictures of scenery from across the world and buildings or street scenes.But really any card will give me pleasure as long as something pleasant is written on the back
I am now restricted to my home as I am a carer for my wife but I look forward to mail from anyone,as my life is quite restrained now.
I read anything from the back of cereal cartons to Tolstoy.
I will read anything recommended by others as I love novelty.
My garden is an important part of my life and take hundreds of photographs especially of my roses which I love.
I have a catholic taste in art and I am particularly fond modern American art work including 'street. And I love writing real letters and using 'snail mail' to send them.
I spend much of my time in my garden tool house and my postcards stuck to the doors of my cupboards with bluetack and every now and then I take down the early one and re read them.
My wife and I have just celebrated 60 years of marriage
